So when I took over, we were the third largest label in the industry. Capital and RCA being bigger.
Shortly thereafter, within the next year or two years, through that six, seven year period, we were the largest label in the country. Profitable. When I took over we were barely breaking even. Um, so it was an unbelievable period. Heralding, fulfilling the rock revolution. An artist, um, that were on fire. They would all, Johnny Cash had his own TV show. Jim Nabors had his own TV show. Andy Williams would broaden their appeal in their album sales. Simon and Garfunkel were the biggest American act.
So we were on fire.
