Clive Davis discusses an employee that was going against rules and restrictions and what they did to get fired from their position.
What happened was not a controversy. It was a shocking revelation that a gentleman that worked for me, I never hired him, he was there when I got there, he headed Artist Relations, and he was great at that. Sending flowers to artists opening night, taking, uh, travel arrangements, the contact, um, uh, helping book various hotels or clubs at the time. And I was told that he had been fraudulently dealing with invoices for his own personal game and a guy named, I think, Pat Falcone. Um, I was shocked. I mean, this guy was likable. Um, Good at what he had done. Um, and, you know, it was like finding out someone you knew well was a crook.
But he was. And I had to fire him.
